Passive Fishing

The key to fishing is patience, which many people do not have. Here is a technique I have gathered that would help release that frustration that fishers can use to increase the chance of success.

First of all you need a bendable wooden stick which can be found anywhere especially with fruit trees. The flexible stick must be dug deep into the soil near your targeted location, It must be held down with some weights. Bend the stick so it has a high amount of tension connected by fishing wire to a notch which is pretty much balancing the tension of the stick, any movement and it will cause the stick to flick (There is another method with strong thick sticks which I will go over soon). Connect the notch again onto another piece of fishing wire tightly onto the hook with some bait, it is best to cut a 360 circumference groove with a knife to stop the line from slipping. Throw the lure into the water and wait.

I usually use the hangman's knot to tie knots as it is very stable. This method is great as you can gain the ability of multi-tasking to focus on other tasks.

As soon as the fish snatch onto the hook, they will trigger the notch and cause the tense stick to flick the fish out of the water. If you have any questions on this technique please feel free to ask as I will be checking this very often.
